Installing

Cement the tailpiece into your pipe or fitting, confirm the O-ring is seated, then tighten the union nut to close the joint.

Servicing

Because the nut unthreads, the pump can come out for service while the plumbing stays put. Check the O-ring each time you open the joint and replace it if it is nicked or flat.
