WAC Lighting 600W Magnetic Outdoor Transformer — 600W, 120V AC input, 12V/13V/14V/15V taps; stainless steel remote transformer for professional low-voltage landscape lighting.
Overview The WAC Lighting 9600-TRN-SS is a 600W magnetic transformer that converts 120V AC to low voltage for WAC and other 12V landscape lighting systems. Output taps at 12V, 13V, 14V and 15V allow longer home runs to be landed on a higher tap to offset voltage drop, keeping fixture voltage consistent across large residential and commercial layouts. The magnetic design is MLV dimming capable, with dimming performance dependent on the fixture type connected. The outdoor-rated stainless steel enclosure has knockouts for power and photosensor connections, plus a 3-prong outlet for a timer. A 5 ft input lead with an outdoor-rated 3-prong plug is supplied for connection to a GFCI-protected receptacle. The unit weighs 13 lb and is UL 1838 listed for low-voltage landscape lighting systems. Pair with WAC photocells and timers for automatic operation, and size the connected load with headroom below the 600W rating.
