A jumbo rectangular valve box with an overlapping cover for manifolds, backflow valves and wire splices. The black box stands 12 in. high and is ribbed for strength.
Box features
- Built-in pipe holes let piping pass through the wall so the box does not rest on the pipe
- Patented Universal Locking Mechanism (ULM) secures the cover with a variety of bolts and screws, no nut needed (3/8 to 1/2 in. diameter, 2-1/2 in. minimum length)
- Speed nut shelf as an alternative way to fasten the cover (bolt and nut not included)
Cover
- Overlapping green cover keeps debris out and can be levered open with a flathead screwdriver
- Marked IRRIGATION CONTROL VALVE; the lid also shows where to lift
Materials and load
Box is polypropylene (PP) and the lid is HDPE, both treated with UV inhibitors. Load rated for pedestrian traffic and lawn care equipment.
