WR2 wireless rain and freeze sensor for 24 VAC irrigation controllers
A wireless sensor that shuts irrigation off when it rains or when the temperature drops below a set point, with a controller interface that shows signal strength, set points and battery life on its LCD. It works with Rain Bird and competitor 24 VAC controllers and can save up to 35% on water.
Setup
- Rainfall set points from 1/8 in to 1/2 in, freeze set points from 33 °F to 41 °F
- Self-leveling bracket mounts on flat surfaces or rain gutters, and one person can install it
- Dual antennas keep the signal reliable past most line-of-sight obstructions
- Toolless battery replacement, with life up to 4 years
