Wired rain sensor with aluminum bracket for irrigation controllers
An RSD Series rain sensor that shuts the system off automatically when it rains, so a home or away property does not overwater. It connects to most irrigation controllers and carries a 25 ft lead of #20 two-conductor wire.
Setting and wiring
- Twist the dial to choose a rainfall setting from 1/8 in to 3/4 in
- Rated 3 A at 125/250 VAC for low-voltage 24 VAC control and pump start relay circuits, not for high-voltage pump start circuits
- Handles up to ten 24 VAC, 7 VA solenoid valves per station, plus one master valve
Built for outdoors
UV-resistant body on an aluminum bracket. An adjustable side vent ring lets the sensor dry out after it collects water, and a latching hinge keeps alignment. UL and cUL listed. Overall size is 6.5 in long by 5.4 in high.
