OverviewThe Rain Bird 2W-1 is a single-station 2-wire field decoder for use with the Rain Bird ESP-2WIRE commercial controller. It installs at the valve location on the 2-wire path and is automatically detected and addressed by the controller’s Decoder Auto-Address function — no manual DIP-switch or address configuration required.No special wire, connectors, or grounding hardware is needed. The 2W-1 works with standard direct-burial irrigation wire and connectors. Compatible with the full ESP-2WIRE system including LNK2 Wi-Fi remote management. Suits commercial turf and landscape installations where individual valve home-run wiring is impractical.
