1" DV residential irrigation valve, female NPT × female NPT, 24 VAC
An inline diaphragm zone valve for residential sprinkler systems, with 1" female NPT threads on both ends. It runs from any standard 24 VAC timer and handles 0.2 to 40 gpm at 15 to 150 psi.
On the job
- Double-filtered pilot flow: a 90 mesh (200 micron) screen on both the diaphragm and the solenoid
- External bleed to flush debris at start-up, internal bleed for spray-free manual operation
- Takes a Rain Bird TBOS latching solenoid for battery-operated controllers
- Use it where code calls for a separate pressure vacuum breaker or double-check valve
Before you order
- Below 3 gpm, or on drip zones, install a 200 mesh filter upstream
- PRS pressure regulating modules cannot be used with this valve
- Not for two-wire systems, except ESP-LXIVM with the IVMSOL
