PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE 1/2 75 PSI

1/2" brass pressure relief valve, 75 psi, no lead

A factory pre-set brass relief valve for cold water systems, set at 75 psi to protect piping and pressure tanks from damage. It is a no-lead valve for potable water work.

Installation

• Pipe the outlet to a floor drain, sump or other safe location, with an air break
• If you use an outlet pipe, make it at least the same diameter as the valve outlet
• Do not adjust the pre-set pressure in the field; anyone who changes it takes on the risk

Where it fits

Boshart recommends a relief valve on every cold water system installation. Pick the set pressure to suit the system rating before you order.
