Overview Polytubes Municipal is a PE-3408 high-density polyethylene pipe rated 200 PSI, meeting CSA B137.1 for both potable water and irrigation service. The 3/4" size (OD 0.875", ID 0.681", wall 0.097") is suited to municipal service connections, well-to-pressure-tank supply lines, pump discharge mainlines, and irrigation systems where high static pressure demands a pipe with substantial safety margin. PE-3408 is the standard specification for underground potable water service line in Canadian municipal applications. HDPE PE-3408 construction offers excellent resistance to stress cracking and chemical attack from soil conditions encountered in Canadian service trench environments. The pipe is rated for potable water (NSF 61 equivalent material) and can be joined by heat fusion, electrofusion, or mechanical compression fittings rated for 200 PSI service. Available cut to length or on coil; the black colour provides UV resistance. Certified to CSA B137.1.
