Overview Polytubes Star75 is a linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) Type I PE-1404 pipe rated at 75 PSI, produced to CSA B137.1. The 1-1/4" size has an ID of 1.380" and a wall of 0.143". Star75 is the standard-duty choice for residential irrigation lateral lines, low-pressure drip zone sub-mains, and temporary or seasonal agricultural distribution where operating pressures remain below 75 PSI. Its flexibility simplifies routing around obstacles and allows coil payout directly into trenches without pre-cutting. LLDPE construction resists cracking under UV and thermal cycling typical in outdoor irrigation installations; the black colour provides UV protection for above-grade sections. Joins with barb fittings secured with stainless steel clamps, or with poly insert fittings for IPS-compatible systems. CSA B137.1 certification confirms the pipe meets Canadian material and performance standards for polyethylene irrigation pipe. Not recommended for potable water supply; use Polytubes Municipal or equivalent PE-3408 product for drinking water service.
