160 PSI Booster Pump

160 psi misting booster pump for low hose pressure and long mist runs

Lifts a hose faucet's pressure, typically 40 to 60 psi, up to 160 psi, which extends mist coverage and gives a finer mist when pressure is low or runs are long. It plugs into a properly grounded 115 VAC outlet.

Where it fits

• Faucets delivering less than 40 psi static pressure
• Mist runs longer than 75 ft, and high-pressure misting systems

Watch the tubing

Standard 3/8" mist tubing is rated for 45 to 120 psi working pressure. At the full 160 psi it is over its rating, so fit a 100 psi pressure regulator, and skip the pump on standard kits with runs under 75 ft.

Installing

• 3/8" slip-lock ports in and out, mounted to a fixed post or wall
• Fit a calcium inhibitor filter before the pump and flush it for 2 minutes before connecting
• No built-in automatic valve: turn off the water source to stop the system
