ProfiClear Premium XL gravity-fed drum filter for koi and swim ponds up to 104,000 gallons
The drum filter module of a modular, fully automatic ProfiClear Premium XL system, for gravity-fed installs below pond level. Rated for ponds up to 104,000 US gallons (about 394,000 L), at 6,600 GPH (25,000 L/h) to 17,400 GPH (65,900 L/h).
How it works
- Rotating screen removes solids down to 60 microns and cleans itself with a high-pressure rinse pump, by sensor, timer or manually
- Dirty water enters at one end and clean water is pumped back to the pond from a pump in the discharge module
- Modules drain and flush through integrated sludge drains
System
- Requires a ProfiClear Premium XL Moving Bed or Standing Bed Module and a Gravity-fed Discharge Module
- Seven DN 110 inlets (4" rubber couplings) and two 180 mm outlets; 4" waste discharge
- Monitor and run it from the Oase Control app with a Garden Cloud Controller (sold separately)

- Drum filters utilize a rotating screen to remove debris and moving bed filtration to strip ammonia and nitrites from the water
- Oase ProfiClear Premium XL filter systems are fully automatic, flow-through, self-cleaning modular filters that polish the water of koi and swim ponds
- Gravity-fed filters install below pond level, taking in dirty water at one end as clean, filtered water is pumped back to the pond from a pump housed in the discharge side
- ProfiClear Premium XL Gravity-fed filters mechanically screen, biologically filter and highly aerate pond water throughout modules
- The Drum Filter Module sieves and separates solids in incoming pond water down to 60 microns, automatically cleaning itself with a high pressure pump, via sensor or time interval, or manually
- All Modules are easily drained and flushed for cleaning and maintenance via integrated sludge drains
- XL Systems can be operated and monitored remotely via Oase Control app with the Oase Control System (Garden Cloud Controller sold separately)
