Overview OASE Lake Therapy OptiLake stabilizes water chemistry in lakes and ponds, regulating pH between 7.5 and 8.3 as a simpler alternative to liming. Stable pH enhances water biology and aquatic diversity, reduces ammonia and nitrite formation, and improves the effectiveness of herbicides and other aquatic treatments. It suits general lake health programs as well as productive fishing ponds and trophy fisheries. Apply annually at 270–710 lb per acre-foot depending on the measured total alkalinity; test alkalinity first to set the rate. Spread evenly across the water surface. For lakes and large ponds; follow the OASE Lake Therapy label for application rates. Rinse with clean water after use and let it dry before storage to extend its service life. Store out of direct sunlight when not in use.
