BioPress 1600 pressurized pond filter with 9 W UV clarifier, for ponds up to 1,600 gallons
A pressure filter with mechanical and biological filtration and a built-in 9 W UVC, rated for ponds up to 1,600 US gallons (about 6,060 L). It can sit away from the pond and be buried to its clamps.
Stocking guide
- Light fish load: under 1,600 gallons
- Medium fish load: under 800 gallons

Maintenance
- Pull the cleaning handle up and down to backflush the foams without removing the cover
- Quick-release clamps open the canister; a window lets you check the UVC, filter performance and pollutant level
- Moving-bed bio-media gives bacteria added surface area
Hookup
Maximum flow 2,000 GPH (7,570 L/h) on 0.75" to 1.5" hose. Use with pumps that shut off at 17 ft (5.2 m) of head or less and waterfalls up to 7 ft (2.1 m) above the filter. Includes two foam types, bio-media, 1.25" to 1.5" Sch 40 adapter, metric step fittings and a 10 ft (3.0 m) cord. The OASE FiltoCap, to hide the buried canister, is sold separately.
