A 12 in length of 3 in Schedule 80 PVC nipple, threaded both ends with male pipe threads. Machined.

Threading

• Pipe size: 3 in, length 12 in
• Male pipe threads (MIPT) on both ends
• On the threads, 1 to 2 turns beyond finger tight is all a sound plastic joint needs.
• Some pipe joint compounds and Teflon pastes can cause stress cracking in plastic, so check the product before using it on threads.
