A jumbo rectangular valve box with a drop-in lid that rests on the box seat and deters tampering. The green cover is marked IRRIGATION CONTROL VALVE, so crews can find components fast.
Box features
- Black box stands 12 in. high, with structural reinforcing ribs
- Built-in pipe holes let piping pass through the wall so the box does not rest on the pipe
- Patented ULM secures the cover with a variety of bolts and screws, 3/8 to 1/2 in. diameter and at least 2-1/2 in. long, no nut needed
- Speed nut shelf as an alternative way to fasten the cover (bolt and nut not included)
Cover and load
- Drop-in lid can be levered open with a flathead screwdriver
- Load rated for pedestrian traffic and lawn care equipment
Materials
Box is polypropylene (PP); the lid is HDPE; both are treated with UV inhibitors.
