Nite-Out II nitrifying bacteria for fast ammonia and nitrite reduction

A liquid culture of Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter. Nitrosomonas convert ammonia to nitrite and Nitrobacter convert nitrite to nitrate, so the blend starts nitrification and keeps it stable.

What to know before dosing

• The bacteria are autotrophic and slow growing, with cell division of 8 to 16 hours
• They need high dissolved oxygen, above 2 mg/L, for maximum growth
• Provides stable cold weather nitrification

Treats a 5,000 gallon pond for 11 months.

Why nitrification matters

Nitrite is less toxic than ammonia, but it is still very damaging to fish health. The cultures establish, promote or stabilize nitrification, which removes the toxic effect of ammonia. Safe for use around plants and animals.
