Autumn and winter prep for pond winterization

A fall treatment that gets pond water ready for a clean, clear spring. It speeds the decomposition of leaves, sediment and other organic matter through the cold months and gives the pond a head start in spring.

How it works

• Two-part system: liquid bacteria plus dry, water-soluble packets
• Packets hold cellulase enzymes, cellulase-producing bacteria and cold weather bacteria
• Speeds the breakdown of leaves, sediment and sludge all winter

Cold weather performance

• Keeps working in water below 40°F (4°C)
• Psychrophilic (cold weather) strains stay effective under ice and snow
• Still effective after thawing if frozen

Pack contents

The gallon kit pairs 1 US gallon of liquid bacteria with eight 2 oz powder packets, enough to winterize larger ponds or several smaller ones on one pass.
