Overview The Regency LovoltAdapter is a 3/4" fitting designed to provide a clean, protected entry point where direct-burial irrigation wire transitions from the soil into a valve box, controller enclosure, or PVC conduit run. The adapter accepts the wire bundle through a grommet or bushing that prevents chafing of the jacket against the sharp edge of a PVC knockout or fitting, protecting insulation integrity over the life of the installation. The 3/4" IPS thread is compatible with standard PVC Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 conduit fittings and the knockout diameters found in most valve boxes and irrigation controller enclosures. Use where wire enters a valve box from underground to prevent soil migration into the box and to protect the wire bundle from mechanical damage at the penetration point. No tools required for installation; hand-tight seating is sufficient for a clean, professional finish.
