Kichler Economy Transformer - Black

Kichler Economy Series Transformer — 60W or 120W, 120V AC input, 12V output; black polycarbonate enclosure with integral timer and photocell for small landscape lighting systems.
Overview The Kichler Economy Series transformer is offered in 60W and 120W capacities for small residential landscape lighting projects and single specialty fixtures. It reduces 120V AC to 12V and includes an integral timer and photocell, so the system can switch on at dusk and off after a set run time without separate control accessories. Keep wire runs short with this class of transformer to limit voltage drop, since it provides a single 12V output rather than multiple voltage taps. The unit uses an E.I. core and coil in a steel chassis with a black polycarbonate enclosure, and is UL rated for wet locations. Protection includes auto-resetting in-line primary overload protection, a thermal cut-off on the primary side and a thermal reset breaker on the secondary side. A 3 ft, 3-wire 12/3 SJTW power cord is supplied for connection to a GFCI-protected outdoor receptacle. Compatible with Kichler 12V landscape fixtures.
