Hard-wired rain and freeze sensor for 24V sprinkler controllers, HRC 100
A hard-wired sensor that shuts the sprinklers off in rain and saves water and foliage. Hygroscopic discs swell with water to trip the switch, and a thermostat feature is standard on every unit.
Setting it up
- Five quick-set rainfall settings: 1/8", 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" and 1"
- Works with most brands of 24V output controllers; relay contacts rated 3 A at 24 VAC
- 30 ft of jacketed wire is included, so it is ready to run to the controller
Mounting
The aluminum bracket clips to a rain gutter with no tools, or the sensor mounts on 1/2" conduit with the adapter that is included. A dry vent adjusts how quickly the discs dry out.

- Rain off: variable rainfall settings keep the sprinkler system off during rain storms and then return the system to automatic mode.

- Heavy-duty jacketed wire: 30 feet of connection wire included and ready for installation.
