9 V DC-latching solenoid for Hunter valves and battery-operated controllers

Swap this onto any Hunter valve in place of the 24 VAC solenoid to run the valve from a battery-operated controller. It latches open and closed on a short pulse from the controller, so power draw stays low.

Installation

• Unscrew the AC solenoid and thread this one on; no tools needed
• One black common wire and one red station wire, pre-wired with 18 in (46 cm) of valve-control wire; wire polarity matters, so connect them correctly
• Fully encapsulated electronics keep water out, and the captive plunger means no lost parts when you service it

Works with

Hunter NODE, NODE-BT and XC Hybrid battery-operated controllers, on any Hunter valve. A quarter-turn manual control opens and closes the valve at the solenoid.
