Ultimate complete water conditioner for ponds and aquariums, 5 US gallons (18.9 L)

Everything in one container: Ultimate destroys chloramine, removes ammonia and chlorine, detoxifies nitrite and heavy metals including copper, adds electrolytes, boosts alkalinity and replaces the skin-slime coat. It instantly ages new water, and one 5 US gallon (18.9 L) container treats 38,400 US gallons (145,356 L).

Dosing

• 1 teaspoon (5 mL) per 10 US gallons (38 L), or 1 fl oz (29 mL) per 60 US gallons (227 L)
• Use it on new ponds, before or after water additions, and before adding fish, amphibians, invertebrates or plants
• For ammonia, dose for each 1 mg/L, or fraction thereof, of measured total ammonia

Testing and compatibility

• Use a salicylate (indophenol) type ammonia kit; Nessler tests read falsely high
• Check oxygen with a DO meter or indigo carmine test; Winkler tests read falsely low
• Do not use with permanganate-based or chlorite-based treatments

Where it fits

Bulk conditioning for larger ponds and new setups, and for fish moved or shipped in bags. Regular water changes keep alkalinity and pH stable.
