A 100-count canister of medium black/gray connectors, pre-filled with dielectric silicone sealant. They cover copper-to-copper splices from #22 to #8 AWG, so one canister handles most of the combinations on a job.
Where it fits
- Outdoor irrigation, landscape lighting and direct bury splices at 30 V or less
- UL 486G listed: 600 V for building wire, 1000 V for signs and luminaires
- Pre-filled sealant keeps out moisture and oxidation
Installation
Strip the wires, align them and twist the connector on until hand-tight. The sealant wipes in around the conductors, with no pre-twisting.
