Overview King Innovation Ace connectors are direct-burial rated waterproof lug splices for low-voltage irrigation valve and lighting wire. The medium Ace connector accepts 18–8 AWG conductors in a two-part compression body that clamps and seals the conductor ends without the need for twist-on action. The Ace format is preferred where wire gauge is too large or stiff for a standard twist-on gel connector, or where a more positive mechanical grip on the conductor is required in high-pull environments. The Ace connector body is pre-filled with siliconised dielectric gel for moisture exclusion after compression, providing the same waterproofing as twist-on Gel-Tite connectors in a low-profile lug format. UL Listed for direct-burial applications; no tape, heat-shrink, or additional waterproofing required. Compatible with all copper and tinned-copper conductors in the stated AWG range. Suitable for solenoid valve wiring, lighting home-run connections, and pump control wire splices where a direct-burial-rated mechanical lug is specified.
