OverviewThis 0.5 HP submersible sump pump delivers 50 GPM and passes 3/8″ solids, suited to residential sump basins containing clean groundwater and minor sediment. The 0.5 HP motor provides more head than lower-HP models, allowing longer or higher discharge runs to the exterior of the building. Automatic float switch provides hands-free level control for unattended basement sump service.Rated at 115V, 6.5 A, 60 Hz. The 3/8″ solids passage is appropriate for clean-water sump basins with gravel liner and a proper sump pit; avoid use in basins with large debris without a pump screen. Piggyback float plug for standard 15A outlet. Discharge port size: confirm with manufacturer spec sheet. Not rated for sewage. Inspect float annually for tether fouling in active basins.
