OverviewThe Zoeller QD Pumptec is a motor protection device for single-phase submersible well pumps from 1/3 HP to 1 HP at 230V 60 Hz. It monitors operating current to detect dry-run conditions, overloads, and locked rotors, automatically shutting the pump down to prevent motor damage. The quick-disconnect (QD) design enables fast field installation and replacement without disconnecting wire terminals, reducing service time.The QD Pumptec installs directly in the pump wiring circuit as a surface-mounted protective relay, providing low-water detection for applications where downhole sensors are not used. Suitable for residential well pump systems where simple, reliable motor protection is needed without a full VFD or smart control system. For 230V single-phase pumps up to 1 HP.
