OverviewThe Zoeller Pumptec® is a motor protection and control unit for single-phase submersible well pumps rated 1/3 HP to 1-1/2 HP at 230V 60 Hz. It monitors motor current and voltage to detect dry-run conditions (loss of water), locked rotor, and overload situations, automatically shutting down the pump to prevent motor damage. An infrared (IR) control interface enables remote diagnostics and parameter adjustment without opening the enclosure.The Pumptec® is suitable for direct installation on any 230V single-phase pump wiring circuit as a low-water shut-off and motor protector. It provides protection that complements or replaces float switches and low-water sensors in deeper well applications where sensor deployment is impractical. UL listed. For residential and light commercial well pump installations requiring advanced motor protection.
