OverviewThe Zoeller 1/2 HP 4" submersible motor at 230V 3-wire is engineered for pairing with 4" pump ends where an external control box is used. The 3-wire configuration provides enhanced motor protection and superior starting torque via the external capacitor-start control box, making it preferred for installations that benefit from overload protection at the surface. Rated at 230V 60 Hz single-phase.The motor is constructed from stainless steel and is compatible with Zoeller and Flint & Walling 4" pump ends. A matched control box (sold separately) is required for 3-wire operation. This configuration is also compatible with many constant pressure drive systems. Suited to residential potable water applications in standard 4" well casings.
