OverviewArkal disc filters use a stack of grooved polypropylene rings to trap particles at each ring intersection. Flow passes through the compressed disc stack, and particles are caught at the many contact points throughout the depth of the filter — providing more effective filtration than simple screen filters at equivalent mesh ratings. The color-coded body identifies the filtration level at a glance.Toro large-format disc filter housing accepts a 150 mesh disc stack for fine filtration of sand and sediment. The larger body provides higher filter area and lower pressure drop at the same flow rate compared to compact disc filter bodies. Plastic NPT connections; disc stack is removable for cleaning or replacement. Rated to 150 PSI.
