EasyPro Ultimate Floating Filter Media, 3.5 cubic feet — high-surface-area plastic biological filter media for koi pond and water garden biofilters.
Overview EasyPro Ultimate Floating Media is a high-surface-area plastic biofilter media used in biological pond filters, bead filter polishing chambers, and trickle filter systems. The media provides an enormous colonisable surface area for beneficial nitrifying bacteria relative to its volume, enabling efficient ammonia and nitrite removal in a compact filter. The 3.5 cubic foot bag suits medium-to-large filter chamber fills. The floating media remains in suspension under aeration or water flow, preventing compaction and channelling that reduces effectiveness in fixed-bed media. Inert, fish-safe plastic construction; does not degrade or require replacement under normal service.
