Overview The EasyPro 12" Pump Protector is a foam-padded ring or sleeve that surrounds a submersible pond pump, providing thermal insulation and physical cushioning inside pump vaults and skimmer basins. The 12" diameter fits the most common mid-to-large submersible pump body diameters used in pondless and pond-with-skimmer installations. The foam ring reduces pump vibration transmission to the vault walls and provides a degree of thermal insulation that can protect against freeze damage in mild climates where the pump runs through light-frost periods. Two-inch-thick sidewalls provide adequate clearance for water flow around the pump.
