EasyPro Retrofit Blower Add-On Kit for 2" Bead Filters — adds blower-assisted backwash to existing EasyPro 2" bead filters without integral blower.
Overview The EasyPro EP-BRK20 Retrofit Blower Kit upgrades existing 2" bead filter installations (EP-PBF series without "BL" suffix) to blower-assisted backwash. The blower agitates the floating bead bed during backwash, releasing trapped solids from the bead surface more thoroughly than valve agitation alone, restoring biological and mechanical filter capacity more fully with each cycle. The kit includes the blower unit and 2" plumbing connections. Particularly valuable in heavily stocked ponds where filter fouling between backwash cycles is rapid. Compatible with EasyPro 2" bead filter models.
