3" Bottom Drain w/Air Diffuser

EasyPro 3" Bottom Drain with Air Diffuser — gravity-fed bottom drain with integral aeration for improved sediment transport in koi pond floors.
Overview The EasyPro 3" Bottom Drain with Air Diffuser combines a standard 3" gravity bottom drain with an integral bottom aeration diffuser. The air diffuser creates an upwelling current at the drain opening that lifts settled solids and fine particles into the water column, where they can be drawn out through the drain path to the filtration system. The aeration diffuser connects to a small air pump via flexible airline tubing. The combination of bottom drain and aeration dramatically improves solid waste removal compared to a drain alone, reducing maintenance frequency in heavily stocked koi ponds. The 3" outlet accepts standard ABS or PVC drain pipe.
