S4 pump end for residential, commercial and agricultural water supply
The DAB S4 is a 4 in multi-impeller borehole pump for clean water. This listing is the pump end only, so you pick the motor. It lifts water from boreholes for residential and commercial buildings, boosts pressure, and supplies garden and irrigation systems. Use it in a well at least 4 in across, or in a tank or cistern.

Motor match
The maker pairs the S4 with 4 in motors: 4GG, 4TW and 4GX. Single phase 4GG and 4GX motors run from a 4CBUS control box, sold separately. 4TW motors use an internal capacitor and thermal protector, so no control box. For three phase, motor protection is the installer's to provide. Variable speed drive operation is fine at 30 to 60 Hz.
Installation
Fixed and vertical. Horizontal is possible if you add a cooling sleeve. Keep sand under 0.009 lb/ft³ (150 g/m³) and water between 32 °F and 104 °F (0 °C and 40 °C).
