S4 4 in borehole pump end for wells and pressure boosting
This is the pump end only: the motor is sold separately. The S4 is a 4 in multi-impeller borehole pump for clean water, used to lift from wells, boost pressure and feed irrigation for residential, commercial and agricultural jobs. It needs a well of at least 4 in, or a tank or cistern.

Motor match
Pair it with a 4 in motor: 4GG, 4TW or 4GX. Single phase 4GG and 4GX motors need a 4CBUS control box, sold separately. 4TW motors run without a control box. On three phase versions the installer supplies the protection. Variable speed drives from 30 to 60 Hz are fine.
Installation
Mount it vertically. Horizontal installs are possible with a cooling sleeve. Impellers are technopolymer, with stainless steel liner, shaft, suction filter and cable guard. Keep sand under 0.009 lb/ft³ (150 g/m³) and starts under 20 per hour.

- 4GG and 4GX single phase motors must be installed with a control box (4CBUS line, sold separately). On three phase versions the protection must be provided by the user.
- 4TW motors operate without a starting control box, using 2 wire technology with internal capacitor and thermal protector.
