DTron 2 X submersible pump with 1 in suction inlet for floating hose
The X version of the DTron 2 electronic submersible pump. Its 1 in NPT female inlet takes a floating suction hose, so the pump draws water from near the surface and avoids pulling in the impurities that settle at the bottom of a tank or cistern. Pressure switch, flow switch, check valve and expansion vessel are built in, along with dry run protection.

Where it fits
Rainwater storage tanks, underground cisterns, water and RO storage tanks, domestic pressurization and irrigation supply. Install it fixed, horizontal or vertical, submerged or semi-submerged. The whole pump is IP68, and the NFC pocket accepts a float sensor (supplied separately) without opening the pump. Pumped water must be clean and free of solids. Certified CSA and CSAus; NSF 61 and 372 apply to the drinking water model only.

- Technopolymer pump body to resist corrosion and oxidation.
- Integrated check valve and integrated debris filter.
- Overpressure valve to resist the formation of ice in the piping and to protect from water hammer.
- Air-vent valve on the pump body improves priming during the first installation or after emptying the tank or well.
- Integrated expansion vessel sized to prevent the pump from cycling in the event of small leakages and to compensate for water hammer. No maintenance or recharging is required.
- Double mechanical seal in oil chamber keeps the pump watertight.
- The electronic operation allows the pump to start and stop autonomously by the system requirements and protects against dry run.
- NFC pocket for a floater sensor (supplied separately) which can be connected without opening the pump, maintaining a watertight seal.
