1-1/2 in. PVC swing check and ball valve combination

Two jobs in one body. The Checkmate pairs a swing check, which stops backflow, with a ball valve that gives you a shutoff point, and it takes less room than building the two from separate parts.

How it works

• The flapper opens when water pressure moves it and lets flow through
• The ball valve is easy to turn and gives you a shutoff point in the system
