CONTROL BOX 4CBUS - 1.5HP - 230V 60HZ BASIC TESLA - DAB PUMPS

4CBUS capacitor start, capacitor run control box for 4GG and 4GX motors

Single phase submersible motors start with only a fraction of their rated torque, so they cannot run without a control box. This is the DAB 4CBUS Basic box in the larger type, which the maker lists from 1.5 HP up to 5.0 HP with capacitor start, capacitor run. Voltage and exact rating are in the product title.

Picking the right box

• Larger type: 1.5 to 5.0 HP, in Basic or Plus
• Plus boxes add magnetic line contactors matched to the motor, removing the need for external ones
• Small type (capacitor start, up to 1.0 HP) is a separate box for lighter motors
• For TESLA 4GG and 4GX motors; match horsepower and voltage to the motor
