Overview QuickPrime Plus is the Carlisle SynTec specified primer for preparing 45-mil EPDM pond liner surfaces before applying single-sided cover tape or double-sided seam tape. Applying the primer activates the surface and significantly increases the peel strength of the tape bond, producing seams that meet the rated field-splice strength. The 1-gallon container provides sufficient primer for large ponds and multi-seam projects. Apply primer to both mating liner surfaces with the included applicator and allow to tack before applying tape. QuickPrime Plus is essential for achieving the manufacturer warranty on field-seamed Carlisle EPDM pond liner installations.
