Thicker Sch 80 walls provide greater pressure capacity and impact resistance than standard Sch 40 valves.Socket (SxS) ends accept Sch 40 or Sch 80 PVC pipe with solvent cement. Recommended for higher-demand irrigation headers, chemical lines, and industrial applications where extra wall strength is specified.
