Overview The BOLD Source 60 is a plug-in low-voltage transformer for residential landscape and deck lighting systems up to 60VA. Four embedded operating modes are set from the front panel: Manual on/off, Timer (fixed on/off times in 24-hour format), Auto (switching via the built-in daylight sensor at dusk and dawn), and Astro, which uses the integrated astronomical clock and site location to follow local sunrise and sunset times through the year. Settings are entered directly on the transformer using the MENU, UP, DOWN and ENTER buttons; the Source is a stand-alone unit and is not controlled over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Date, time and location are set once at commissioning. For app-based scheduling and smart-home integration, specify the Source TrueSync version. Install on a GFCI-protected 120V receptacle and size the connected fixture load within the rated capacity.
