Overview The BOLD Source 300 TrueSync is a smart low-voltage transformer rated at 300VA for landscape, deck and hardscape lighting. Built-in Wi-Fi connects the unit to the BOLD mobile app for scheduling, on/off and scene control, and to supported smart-home platforms. Commands are sent to TrueSync-compatible fixtures over the existing low-voltage cable using power line communication, so no separate control wiring or wireless repeaters are needed along the run. Power line communication gives reliable control over long cable runs, limited only by normal voltage-drop design. Three wire taps allow multiple home runs to be landed at the transformer, so separate areas of the property can be fed from one unit. Smart control functions apply to TrueSync-enabled fixtures connected on the circuit. Install on a GFCI-protected 120V receptacle and keep the total connected load within the rated capacity.
