Black pond dye, 4 packets
Dissolvable packets of black pond dye that shade the water to stop plant growth below the surface. The 4-pack treats 1 acre 4' to 6' deep.
Use and mixing
- Dose at 1 packet per acre-foot
- Blue and black concentrates can be mixed for your own shade
- Safe for fish, plants, livestock and pets
Why dye
Colouring the water cuts the light that submerged plants need, so growth below the surface drops off. Dosing is by volume, measured in acre-feet.
Handling
Read the safety data sheet before storing or mixing, and keep the product in its original container. The pack size suits repeat service work, so one purchase covers several visits at the stated dose.
The safety data sheet is under Downloads. Order at your trade pricing or pick up at ProSource in Kelowna, Westside, Burnaby, Vancouver, Langley or Calgary.
- Whether you prefer liquid dye or easy to apply dissolvable packets of powdered dye, Typhoon Pond Dye shades the water to eliminate plant growth below the surface.
- Available in both blue and black, concentrated dye can be mixed to create your own favorite shade.
