Downspout filter for rainwater harvesting systems
A buried filter that sits at the base of the downspout and catches debris and pollutants washed off the roof before the water reaches your rainwater harvesting system.
What it removes
- Leaves, twigs, seeds and small sediment
- Roofing material sediment and dust, down to 300 microns
How it works
- Stage one: grated lid and a layer of gravel (gravel not included) catch larger debris
- Stage two: 300-micron net removes finer particulate
- Filtered water discharges into the harvesting system
Installation
Installed and buried out of sight. The molded hose tail fits 3 in or 4 in corrugated drain pipe.
