RP50 (72R) 1/2 HP compressor maintenance kit for Airmax SilentAir pumps

A complete rebuild kit for one SilentAir RP50 (72R) 1/2 HP dual rocking piston compressor. It suits the compressors in PondSeries PS40 and LakeSeries LS20, LS30, LS40 and LS60 aeration systems purchased before 2022.

In the kit

• 2 valve plates with pre-installed leaf valves
• 2 head O-rings, 2 cylinder O-rings and 4 tube O-rings
• 2 cylinder sleeves and 2 piston cups
• 8 screws, 4 of them Torx head
• 1 spare pinch clamp in case the original fails

When to rebuild

• Rebuild interval by average running pressure: 1 to 7 psi, 18 months. 8 to 12 psi, 12 months. 13 to 15 psi, 9 months. 16 psi and up, 6 months.

Tools

T20 and T25 Torx wrenches, 1/8", 5/32", 1/4", 1/2" and 5/8" Allen wrenches, a pick tool, and pipe joint compound or Teflon tape. Match the kit to the compressor model, not just the system name.
