BUSHING 1/2x1/4 CPVC ST

1/2" x 1/4" CPVC Schedule 80 flush reducer bushing, spigot x FIPT

A flush-style Schedule 80 CPVC reducer bushing. The 1/2" spigot seats in a 1/2" fitting socket and the 1/4" female iron pipe thread takes a male-threaded part, so you can drop a socket outlet to a threaded one.

Where it fits

• Step a 1/2" socket down to a 1/4" female thread for a gauge, nipple or valve
• Flush style: sits level with the face of the fitting it seats in
• Schedule 80 heavy-wall series: pair it with Schedule 80 CPVC pipe and fittings

Installation

• Dry-fit the socket, then use primer and solvent cement made for CPVC and hold the joint until it sets.
• Use a thread sealant that is rated for CPVC and stop at snug: plastic threads crack if you crank them.
