4" CPVC Schedule 80 coupling, socket x socket

A heavy-wall Schedule 80 CPVC coupling that joins two lengths of 4" pipe in line. Both ends are sockets, so it solvent welds to the pipe with no threads or sealant involved.

Where it fits

• Straight joins and repair sections in 4" Schedule 80 CPVC lines
• Socket x socket: solvent welds to both pipe ends
• Schedule 80 heavy-wall series: pair it with Schedule 80 CPVC pipe and fittings

Installation

• Cut the pipe square, deburr and chamfer the end, then dry-fit before cementing.
• Use primer and solvent cement made for CPVC, push the joint home with a quarter turn and hold it until it sets before pressure testing.
• Mark the pipe and fitting alignment before cementing, because the joint sets fast.
