Starting and protection
Single phase 4GG motors need a control box, supplied separately: the capacitor and manual-reset overload live in the box, not the motor. On three phase motors the overload protection is up to the installer. Variable frequency drive use is fine at 30 Hz to 50 Hz.
Build and approvals
Stainless AISI 304 shell with an AISI 304L casing and coated cast iron housings, a Kingsbury self-centering thrust block, and a removable cable connector for fast service. Certified to CSA and UL, plus NSF 61 and 372 for drinking water. Other voltages and frequencies, and the all-AISI 316 4GX, are available on request.
